DPI Webinar Roundtable Series Training in Disability-Competent Care and Supports Starts on February 4

January 30, 2014

The Disability Practice Institute (DPI) invites you to attend its Disability-Competent Care Interactive Webinar Roundtable Series: Training in Disability-Competent Care and Supports. Eight webinars will be presented live on a weekly basis (every Tuesday) with a two-week break from March 4 to March 11, 2014. The first session is scheduled for February 4. The series is designed for interested providers and health care professionals, front-line staff with health plans and practices, and stakeholders involved in efforts to improve care to adults with disabilities.

This webinar series will be practically focused and participatory in nature. The topics identified arose from the introduction of the Self-Assessment Tool and the comments provided during DPI’s initial 9-part webinar series that was presented last fall. Each webinar will include 2–4 topic experts who will lead a 15–20 minute discussion to introduce the specific topic. Following, there will be 30–40 minutes reserved for Q&A, practical discussion and dialogue between participants and experts. All presentations will be recorded and materials will be available for download at www.ResourcesForIntegratedCare.com.

Interested participants are encouraged to pre-register for each webinar in the series. Descriptions of the first four webinars are below.
