Join the Grandfamilies & Kinship Support Network and USAging for “The Important Role of Area Agencies on Aging and Title VI Native American Aging Programs in Serving Kinship/Grandfamilies: Research, Resources, and Strategies for Success.”

Over 2.6 million U.S. children are raised by grandparents, other relatives, or close family friends. Many AAAs and Title VI programs provide a variety of supportive services for kinship families and grandfamilies.

During this webinar, participants will:

  • Learn about a new research report that documents how AAAs and Title VI programs are helping these families.
  • Hear from representatives of AAAs about their successes in serving kinship families and grandfamilies and why it’s important to develop and sustain programs to support these families.
  • Learn about professional resources available from the Grandfamilies & Kinship Support Network: A National Technical Assistance Center, led by Generations United.

For questions, please contact info@GKSNetwork.org.

Funded by ACL, the Grandfamilies & Kinship Support Network helps government agencies and nonprofits in states, tribes, and territories work across boundaries to improve supports and services for families in which grandparents, other relatives, or close family friends are raising children.
