Upcoming DOL Section 14(c) Stakeholder Engagement Session

November 13, 2023

Wednesday, November 15, 2023 | 5:30-7:00 PM ET

Register for the engagement session.

On September 26, 2023, Acting Secretary Julie Su announced that the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) is launching a comprehensive review of the Section 14(c) program, which authorizes employers, after receiving a certificate from the Wage and Hour Division, to pay subminimum wages to workers whose disabilities impact their productivity for the specific work performed.

As part of this effort, the DOL has been holding a series of stakeholder engagement sessions to hear from members of the public, in particular workers with disabilities, about their experiences with the Section 14(c) program. Learn more about the sessions on the DOL website.
