Join the Boost Your Budget Week Awareness Campaign

April 15, 2024

Millions of older adults are eligible for, but not enrolled in, benefits that can help them save money on health care, prescriptions, food, and more. Today kicks off the National Council on Aging (NCOA) Boost Your Budget® Week, an annual campaign to educate low-income older adults about these money-saving benefits. From April 15-19, 2024, you can join the effort to build awareness and help older adults find ways to save. The campaign is also an opportunity to raise awareness of the ACL-funded BenefitsCheckUp® tool, which connects millions of older adults and people with disabilities with benefits programs that can help pay for health care, medicine, food, utilities, and more.

NCOA’s toolkit for professionals includes downloadable posters, social media graphics, animated videos, media tips, and other tools to tailor the campaign in your area. NCOA recently hosted a webinar on this year’s campaign and how you can get involved. Registration for NCOA’s Connect platform is required to view the recording.
