On Tuesday, September 1, 2015, the National Alzheimer’s and Dementia Resource Center held a webinar on creating communities that are safe and respectful, provide support, and work toward quality of life for people living with dementia and their families. Webinar participants learned about key concepts related to Dementia Friendly Communities and heard from community leaders putting these concepts into action. Webinar recording (YouTube)

On Thursday, July 30, 2015, the National Alzheimer’s and Dementia Resource Center held a webinar about the prevalence and characteristics of people with dementia who live alone. Topics included the signs of self-neglect, intervention strategies, and the experiences of people with dementia who live alone.
