Minnesota Initiative Aims to Make Communities More Dementia-Friendly

U.S. News & World Report (2/1, Galvin, 1.88M) reports on efforts in Minnesota to make communities more accommodating to dementia patients, profiling an initiative by the statewide collaborative group, Act on Alzheimer’s. The organization has partnered with the nonprofit FamilyMeans to bring volunteer-led training to businesses and community institutions to instruct on interactions with dementia patients.
