Nutrition: Call for Effective Strategies to Increase Voluntary Contributions

September 20, 2018

The Office of Nutrition and Health Promotion Programs is looking for examples of how congregate meals sites encourage participants to make voluntary contributions.

If you or your organization run a congregate meals program, we want to hear about what strategies you've used to collect or solicit voluntary contributions, and what worked well. A few select examples will be rolled out to other sites around the country and tested for their effectiveness, as part of an effort to learn what works and develop recommendations for congregate meals sites nationwide.

Please send us your example posters, flyers, scripts, orientation handbooks, pictures, etc. All examples should include a short description of what you did and whether it worked (and how you determined this). Please email your submissions to: healthpromotion@acl.hhs.gov

Send your examples in by October 12, 2018. Please also include your name, contact information (if you don’t mind being contacted for follow up information), and your congregate meals site name.
