Elder Justice Coordinating Council Meeting

The Elder Justice Coordinating Council (EJCC), chaired by the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, meets twice a year to discuss topics surrounding elder abuse.

The next meeting takes place in Washington, DC on Monday, June 12, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. ET. Click here to register.

Established by the Elder Justice Act of 2009, the EJCC coordinates activities across the federal government related to elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Meetings bring together subject matter experts and other stakeholders to discuss proposed solutions related to these issues.

The EJCC receives support from the Elder Justice Interagency Working group. This group brings representatives from federal agencies with expertise in elder abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation.
