The DRRP on Mobile Applications For Use By People With Disabilities will conduct development and knowledge translation activities to facilitate the efficient development and distribution of mobile applications for use by people with disabilities.

Given the importance of elevating innovative approaches to help older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers stay engaged and connected, Commit to Connect and engAGED: The National Resource Center for Engaging Older Adults are again joining forces to co-host the National Summit to Increase Social Connections.

ACL’s Lifespan Respite Care Program is designed to improve statewide quality access to respite care services to all family caregivers so that they are supported in their efforts. Lifespan Respite Care programs are coordinated state systems of accessible, community-based respite care services for family caregivers of all ages, disabilities, and conditions. Respite care is planned, unplanned, or emergency temporary care for individuals and offers a break to family caregivers in need.

ACL has released a new notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) to continue developing and implementing innovative local models of non-medical volunteer assistance and support to family caregivers, older adults, and adults with disabilities in order to maintain their independence.

This HUD resource provides an overview of federal health programs and resources that communities and housing providers can leverage to provide supportive services to help people experiencing homelessness transition to and sustain their housing.

Two technical assistance opportunities are available from the National Center on Advancing Person-Centered Practices and Systems (NCAPPS).
